	Since we've  been publishing our family tree information on the web, we've been in touch with others researching Jaaps, but can't always make a connection.  Perhaps your data can provide the missing link?  Or maybe some of these names are part of your family tree? John Jaap, born Bellshill in Scotland but grew up in the USA (Pittsburg area).  He played football there and again when he returned to Scotland in 1930 when he played for Hearts of Midlothian.  He returned to the US in 1931 and continued his football career.
